Oinky Doink is as busy as it gets once again, all thanks to Nagomi winning the Lady Omoe competition! Shiipon enters the Cafe panting and delivers shocking news: Panda is dead and was found tied to a Radio Building’s metal frame. But a twist happens when the suit’s head falls off, and the suit is empty. The maid is in the crowd, covered with another panda suit, and tells our maids that she was the one who was inside it.
On the Panda suit’s head, is a note for the Manager which reads Oinky Doink Cafe is hereby disowned from the Creatureland Group.
The maids and the Manager all gather at the Cafe, stressed about the fact that their Cafe has been disowned right when business was booming due to the Lady Omoe effect. Without being in the Creatureland Group, there’s no way they can survive in Akiba, and they will surely come after them now. Outside of their Cafe, the walls are covered in mean quotes directed to the Cafe and Nagomi and Ranko came outside to clean everything up.
The group of three boys who became regulars at the Cafe shows up and they tell the girls that one of them, Akai, has died, tortured by someone. He had bragged about Nagomi at other Cafes, and that may have made some maids mad.
We Are Enemies
At Oinky Doink, other maids show up and try to steal our maid’s masters, succeeding in making all of the clients leave. Zoya makes a point by saying that since they were disowned, the other maids are now enemies, and almost starts a fight before she is stopped by Ranko.
At the Ramen shop, Ranko tells the girls that it’s her fault that they were disowned, since she once made an oath of sisterhood with the current head of the Creatureland Group, Nagi. Knowing this piece of information makes it even more dramatic that Nagi was behind the death of Michiyo, who was very important to Ranko, and was behind hiring a man to kill Ranko.
Ranko tells the story of when she used to work as a maid with Michiyo. Michiyo was a formidable force in Akiba and the place where Oinky Doink stands now used to be the Maid Teahouse, where Ranko worked alongside Michiyo and Nagi, who taught her everything back when she was inexperienced as a maid. However, they regretfully clashed over the cafe’s policies.
Ranko believes that Nagi disowned their Cafe due to her contempt for her. Nagomi believes that they were disowned because she stole the Lady Omoe title, but Ranko reassures that what is happening is between her and Nagi and she will settle everything tomorrow.
After Ranko leaves, the owner tells the girls that ever since Ranko met them, she looks like she has been enjoying herself, and she is desperate to protect them.
Ranko bids farewell to the Cafe, and when she comes out of the elevator, all the girls are waiting for her to help her settle everything, even if they are scared of dying. It seems that the words from the Ramen shop owner got to their hearts and they couldn’t let their friend go on a suicide mission on her own. Even Panda is with them!
The maid from Dazzlion is getting a massage when there’s shouting and gunshots from outside, followed by a grand entrance from our girls. They clear the Dazzlion building while holding their maid hostage, and Shiipon zones out, thinking about how her horoscope wasn’t good and that maybe she will die.
Other maids from Dazzlion report to Nagi about the situation going on in Dazzlion and there being a hostage, to which Nagi only tells them to kill them.
Shiipon looks out the window, and there are a ton of Dazzlion maids aiming at them, and even when the Manager shows that they have a hostage, they still fire at them.
Lady Omoe Title
While all the Dazzlion maids are out, Nagomi and Ranko make their way to Nagi’s office but get surrounded by maids who come out of the building. Surprisingly, they aren’t there with orders to kill them but demand they hand over their guns as Nagi wants to see them.
Inside the office, Nagomi gives Nagi the Lady Omoe reward and title, which Nagi ignores and smashes the reward on Nagomi’s head, only being focused on why Ranko is there.
Ranko asks Nagi to reconsider disowning Oinky Doink, making her surprised that she isn’t there to kill her, as she wouldn’t want to kill Ranko if possible. Nagi offers Ranko a seat among the higher-ups as long as she proves her sincerity. At this, Nagi throws a gun at her and tells her to kill all the maids from Oinky Doink to show that she is willing to fight to protect her.
Even with all the rewards that came with the offer that Nagi made, Ranko refuses, as Oinky Doink means the world to her. Instead, Ranko offers her life in exchange for letting Oinky Doink off the hook.
Nagi picks up a sword and stabs it through Ranko’s hand, but Ranko endures it and tells Nagi all the reasons why she feels happy with the Oinky Doink, which makes Nagi laugh at her.
A Manager Can’t Give Up
At Dazzlion, our girls are struggling with the gunfight, ending up with Zoya getting shot in her shoulder. The Manager believes that they will all die, and since she doesn’t want to see them die, she dramatically puts the gun inside her mouth and tells them she will see them on the other side. Her actions are stopped by Yumechi who tells her that a manager can’t give up that easily and that she should fight to protect her Cafe. This lights a fire inside the Manager, who angrily starts shooting at the Dazzlion maids.
Nagomi and Michiyo
Nagi asks Ranko if Oinky Doink is special to her because Nagomi got under her skin. Ranko tells her that Nagomi reminds her of Michiyo, and seeing how special Nagomi is to her friend, Nagi holds her hostage holding the sword to her throat. Nagi tells her that power is everything in Akiba, and a maid with no power has no worth. If they kept listening to Michiyo they would’ve been massacred.
Nagi makes Ranko choose between her or Nagomi, a choice that seems to be very easy for Ranko as she picks up the gun and is about to shoot Nagi before Nagomi tells her to stop since Nagi is her only sworn sister. At this, Ranko can’t choose anymore, saying that they are both family to her and she drops to her knees crying and begging for Nagi to let her give her life in exchange for the safety of Oinky Doink since it is her home.
Ten Times More
Ranko’s words make Nagi remember the times they passed with each other at Maid Teahouse, but she brushes it off by telling Ranko that she is disappointing her by crying with her age. She lets Nagomi go, and tells them that nothing will happen to Oinky Doink if they manage to make ten times more money. Before they leave, Ranko tells Nagi to come to see her work as a maid sometime, as she believes that being at the Oinky Doink Cafe would do her good.
The fight at Dazzlion is over, so all the maids meet in front of Oinky Doink Cafe, and Nagomi tells them about the deal that Nagi made with them. Everyone is dedicated to working harder to pay everything off, and in an emotional moment, Ranko welcomes them home.
Ranko and Nagomi are outside shopping for new hair accessories for Nagomi when she finds a hair clip to gift Nagomi. As she asks the seller to wrap it up, a maid from the Axolotl Cafe stabs Ranko in the back.
Nagomi immediately runs to Ranko’s side, and while she is bleeding to death in her arms, she gives Nagomi the hair clip and tells her that she wants to be a maid, a cute one with all of the girls. She slowly stops talking and her eyes lose their sparkle, and we can only hope that this won’t be the end for our beloved Ranko.
