Creatureland holds a funeral for Manami, which gets interrupted by the debt collector and our manager who is there to give her deepest condolences for their loss. Our Manager is being so honest that she is even reading it from a paper! As a more experienced “Creature”, she offers her help to them, but according to the debt collector, Ugaki and the others have already made a good start and are even making more money than our girls at Oinky Doink.
Nagi arrives at the funeral, and seeing the commotion between our manager and the maids from Ugaki’s Cafe, she decides they should settle everything with… a baseball game?
A Baseball Game?
At Oinky Doink, the manager tells the girls about the baseball game they will have to take part in, and overall everyone is confused as to why they are playing baseball after trying to murder each other… everyone except Nagomi, who is as excited as ever and believes that they can wash away their past differences with their sweat.
The two groups stand face to face for their baseball game, as since our girls can’t play baseball with just seven players, there are three random men on their team.
Before the game even starts, both teams are at each other’s throats making fun of each other, except for our dear Nagomi once again.
The game begins, and Kasumi looked up to Manami so much that with all the anger she feels she breaks the baseball bat in half when she hits the ball.
From the looks of Ugaki on the bench, it seems that our girls are taking the lead in this game. Nagomi who is now sitting on the bench, cheers for the girls endlessly and tirelessly.
The game proceeds, and even when Nagomi fails all the hits, she doesn’t seem to ever give up her optimistic attitude, still being excited to be playing.
Everything seemed to be going too smoothly and pacific, too good to be true. Ugaki says that it’s time they stop playing fair, and it’s time to crush them.
The real game begins now.
The Real Game Starts Now
Zoya throws the ball, and Molly instead of hitting the ball, hits Nagomi’s head with full force, making our girl fall unconscious and have to go to the hospital. Shiipon doesn’t let this go without consequences and she makes Molly trip on her way out, humiliating her. This is about to start a major fight between the two Cafes when Nagomi decides to speak up and defend the other maid, saying that it was her fault and she leaned in too much. This clearly wasn’t the case, as the other maid hit her with full intentions of doing so. Even after being hit in the head with such brute force, Nagomi still cheers for everyone.
Another of our girls who can’t let this go without consequences is Yumechi, who punches Molly Nagomi right in the face.
Everyone Else is Being a Maid
A fight breaks out, and while our Manager cheers for our girls to crush them, Nagomi is the only one that can’t understand why they always resort to violence. Yumechi and Shiipon tell her that she is the only one who is playing baseball, everyone else is being a maid. And the game keeps going, with them attacking each other instead of playing, which Nagomi is still trying to do.
Even though Nagomi’s attitude is almost getting her killed, as she keeps getting hit, the maids from the other Cafe see that she is playing fair and square and start doubting Ugaki’s orders.
The game proceeds fairly once again after Ranko tells Yumechi and Shiipon that provoking the enemy is futile.
Peace ends once Ugaki feels like they are losing the game and decides to get into the field to play it herself, but getting angry she tries to attack Ranko with the bat, and another fight is about to break out until her Cafe’s mascot stabs her in the back. Inside the axolotl suit is Miyabi, who killed Ugaki as revenge for what happened to Manami, but she also gets killed by Molly.
Nagomi asks Ranko to call an ambulance but ends up being ignored. She doesn’t understand why this keeps happening, and in her head, she just wanted to play a baseball game with no bloodshed.
Strangely, the maids from Ugaki’s Cafe pretend that the two deaths didn’t occur, saying that they aren’t dead, and the game proceeds, making Nagomi excited again … which is weird.
The game finally ends, and our girls won!
After the game, Nagi meets Ranko, who is surprised to see Nagi alive. They seem to be old friends, as Ranko tells her that she is surprised since she had searched for her but it was in vain. Nagi says that she has climbed to the very top of Akiba and doesn’t go by “Uzuko” like Ranko once knew. She goes by Nagi and is the head of the Creatureland group. They worked together before as maids, as she mentions Michiyo and wonders how she would feel if she saw how far she came. Nagi blames Ranko for Michiyo’s death, and because she didn’t kill anyone during the game she says that that’s the same foolishness that got Michiyo killed.
Before Nagi leaves, she tells Ranko to fight for her group, otherwise, she will have no place in Akiba.
