Second Day of the Event!
It was the second day of the event, and the fourth floor was like an underground ocean where Maple and Sally saw a floating turtle (more realistic than Syrup). Instead of fighting it, they decided to relax on its shell, which did not impress the developers. After a while, Sally pointed out that they needed to fight the turtle and effortlessly beat it. Meanwhile, the rest of the Maple Tree Guild were battling monsters based on the Level Six entities. In this fight, viewers could see different skills from the members and their improvement in fighting without Maple and Sally. But at the same time, they were worried about the two because Sally does not like scary stuff.
The Top Three Guild
Back to Maple and Sally, they passed the scary floor because Maple used Atrocity and crushed the boss under her feet (which was hilarious) with Sally inside her mouth. Developers looked at how the top guilds are doing after spectating Maple and Sally. Payne and her squad were fighting a monster that looked like a dark magician. They managed to defeat the boss with their teamwork and with the help of Frederica‘s support magic. Their team did not want to lose to Maple and Sally, so they gave their best to reach the top floor first.
On the other hand, Mii and her squad were in an icy area full of traps, which they overcame because of Marx. They decided to rest on the floor to recover their stamina before proceeding. Inside the Maple Tree Guild, the members talked about the previous bosses they encountered and how Sally managed to pass the scary boss. Maple received a message from Mii, who updated her on their latest progress. This message further motivated Maple to finish the event first.
Chameleon Boss
The developers were still spectating all the players participating in the event and focused on watching the top 3 guilds beating the bosses effortlessly. The next boss the guilds encountered was a chameleon that could be invisible and inflict an attack that would make the target sleep. Kasumi was damaged from this attack, and thankfully, Iz brought a potion that helped her. Meanwhile, Maple was also attacked by the boss continuously because she was not receiving any damage from it. While Maple was asleep, Sally finished the boss.
What a Large Boss!
The next floor was like a galaxy with platforms to step on, which was difficult for Maple because she was slow. The next boss was a large machine that could deflect the attacks already used to it. It also has knockbacks, which was why Maple and Sally had difficulties beating it. While fighting the boss, Maple used Machine God, while Sally used some of her skills to deal minor damage to the boss. Noticing that it would take them too long to beat the boss, Maple used Machine God as a drill to attack the boss at the top and drill it into half. Her plan worked, so Maple and Sally proceeded to the final floor.
Strongest Boss!
The developers watched this battle, and because of this, they were curious about how Maple and the other players would battle their strongest boss. After teleporting to the last floor, Maple and Sally were immediately sent to battle the final boss. It looks like a knight with roots throughout its body and uses a greatsword to attack the players. Maple and Sally coordinated their attack, using Maple’s defence and Sally’s offence to deal damage to the boss.
This battle is so good because the battle animation and graphics were all high quality! Maple and Sally’s duo were also the best because Maple would mostly buy time and protect Sally while Sally thought of a way to beat and lower the HP of the boss. It also showcased the skill they got throughout the first season and the previous episodes, and it was effortlessly in the top battle scenes for this anime. At the end of the battle, Maple used Break Core, which finally took the boss down.
End of the Seventh Event
At the end of the event, Maple and Sally won third place, with Payne’s group in first and then Mii’s in second. Maple and Sally were awarded silver and would receive new skills! Along with the end of the event, the new Level 8 of the NewWorld Online would be released, but the players should fight the Level 7 boss to proceed. And because it was at the horror level, Sally had no choice but to accompany the guild inside Maple’s Atrocity’s mouth.
