The episode starts with the murderer killing someone. He tells them that he really needs them, and if they were in his position, they would understand. What could this mean? It could range anything from him needing money and selling body parts on the black market to him needing new body parts to replace his like he will be immortal if he keeps replacing them.
Dongsu wakes up scared, could it have been a nightmare or a vision from the killer? I believe it was most likely a nightmare from the day he had been killed since next Dongsu gets a sharp pain in the hole where his eye should be after the man who stole it from him gets poked in the eye with the nail of a woman. This makes the man furious, and the first thing he does after he gets up in the morning is kill the woman.
The man puts his eye drops in the stolen eye, and after seeing that Dongsu felt the pain from the woman’s nail earlier, it’s proved that he can not only see what the man sees, but he also feels his eye.
Dongsu waits in front of the place the man works, and he finally spots the girl that he always sees through the eye. Although he is the main character, he is quite dumb, stopping her in the middle of the street and telling her, a complete stranger, that he is happy to see her and asking if she wants to talk. If they had talked before or been friends, it would have been understandable, but…she had never seen him before.
A few steps ahead of them stands the man that Dongsu is looking for, and he smiles. Could he be smiling because Dongsu stopped the woman from reaching out to him and bothering him, or did he smile because he knows who Dongsu is and that he is still alive? Seeing the sad expression on the woman’s face, Dongsu looks behind and we are left wondering if he saw the man he is looking for standing a few feet from him or not.
The two major things we learned in this episode is that Dongsu does also feel his eye, and that he is quite dense. It’s getting quite frustrating seeing how many opportunities he is missing from catching the man because he is so reckless and unaware of his surroundings. It’s the second time that he stands next to him and doesn’t notice! Or did he notice at the end when he looked back? We will have to wait for episode 8 to hopefully find out.
Also, if he feels his eye, there’s a big chance that he also feels the missing pinky finger, right? Do you think that at some point he will feel something?
