The upcoming racing anime HIGHSPEED Étoile was first announced last week, and earlier this day a teaser trailer is streamed to introduce the series. This PV can be watched on King Amusement Creative’s official YouTube channel.
The story focuses on Rin Rindo, a girl who challenges the “NEX Race”, a next-generation race with a maximum speed of over 500 km/h, set in Japan in the near future. Her character is shown in the trailer, competing to win the Race against other female racers. In addition, a powerful race scene was also included.
Judging from the teaser, it can be seen the anime is animated mainly using 3DCGI technology. The project is produced by Good Smile Company and King Records. It is also reported the anime collaborates with various actual motorsports companies.
The voice actors (seiyuu) who are confirmed to dub the characters are as follows:
