I’ve been in a band myself, so I fully understand Miracle’s struggle with writer’s block here. Clearly Chris wasn’t having the same problems, it looked like she wrote enough to fill a book with. But as Miracle said, matching all that writing to different melodies would take a crazy amount of time – at least Chris could use her massive amount of content in different songs.
I remember looking at the key visual for this anime before it came out a Noelle was the one who stood out to me the most, so getting to know some more of her backstory before Miracle, the main character, was very much welcomed. This explains why Noelle was so touchy about Miracle “half-assing” everything, her family made her into a perfectionist.
It was nice to see Miracle’s words melt Noelle’s ice heart enough for her to see Miracle as a friend. That interaction that the two of them had after Noelle’s performance was wholesome, it’s good to see Miracle making another new friend. As for Noelle’s performance itself – her lyrics were good, she busted a few solid moves, all-round it was a great show, she should have more confidence in herself.
For sure one of the best yet, with some great development of Noelle. There’s still two girls on the key visual poster that haven’t made an appearance yet, when do you think they’ll show up? Let us know below!
