A promotional image for the upcoming season of the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation series has been revealed. In this promotional image we can see Rudeus, who is older, and Fitts, who looks like someone we already know.
There were big doubts as to whether the person who voiced Rudeus would continue with the series but it was agreed that Yumi Uchiyama would continue to voice our boy.
The animation of this new season will be by Studio Bind (a company that was founded by EGG FIRM and White Fox and whose only work is Mushoku Tensei). The direction is by Manabu Okamoto (who worked on anime such as Akame ga Kill! and Re: Zero) and the character design is by Kautaka Sugiyama (Animator on Darling in the FRANXX and Chainsaw Man) the production continues by the company EGG FIRM, one of the owners of Studio Bind.
For this new season of Mushoku Tensei, the cast is:
- Yumi Uchiyama as Rudeus Greyrat.
- Konomi Kohara as Roxy Migurdia.
- Ai Kakuma as Eris Boreas Greyrat.
- Ai Kayano as Sylphiette.
The Story
“Despite being bullied, scorned, and oppressed all of his life, a 34-year-old shut-in still found the resolve to attempt something heroic—only for it to end in a tragic accident. But in a twist of fate, he awakens in another world as Rudeus Greyrat, starting life again as a baby born to two loving parents.
Preserving his memories and knowledge from his previous life, Rudeus quickly adapts to his new environment. With the mind of a grown adult, he starts to display magical talent that exceeds all expectations, honing his skill with the help of a mage named Roxy Migurdia. Rudeus learns swordplay from his father, Paul, and meets Sylphiette, a girl his age who quickly becomes his closest friend.
As Rudeus’ second chance at life begins, he tries to make the most of his new opportunity while conquering his traumatic past. And perhaps, one day, he may find the one thing he could not find in his old world—love.”- My Anime List Synopsis
Final Thoughts
Well, Mushoku Tensei is one of my favorite animes, as I already said when I wrote the article about the second season that you can read here. And if by chance you haven’t seen it yet and you’re afraid because it’s another Isekai, I believe that the human reality that Mushoku Tensei paints even in a world full of fantasy and magic is incredible. That’s why I give it 10/10 and recommend it to everyone.
And as I mentioned in my article about the second season…
” If you like to read mangas, I strongly advise you to read this one. As you might know, not everything can be brought into anime adaptations, so if you want to know more about this story, I recommend you read the manga. Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu has become one of my favorite anime.”
By the way, did you know that we at LAN also do game reviews and news? That’s right, every week we’ll bring you all sorts of game news, always with anime in mind. You can already read our news about the Berserk manga or Heat the Pig Liver anime!
