My Home Hero is a Japanese manga series written by Naoki Yamakawa and illustrated by Masashi Asaki. Yamakawa and Asaki launched the manga in 2017 in Kodansha’s seinen manga magazine in Weekly Young Magazine. The manga consists of 19 tankōbon volumes since January 2023. As such, the author announced the manga that will reach its climax in February 2021.
The manga’s story focuses on an average salaryman named Tetsuo Tuso, who has a loving wife and a wonderful daughter studying at a university. One day, Tetsuo found his daughter lying, beaten, and full of bruises around her body. On that unfaithful day, Tetsou starts his journey to danger to protect his family.
Aside from this manga, Yamakawa also worked with several manga artists in the industry to create such exciting stories. Yamakawa collaborated with Akinari Nao to work with I’m Standing on a Million Lives, which inspired an anime series that aired in October 2020. In July 2021, the anime premiered its second season. Likewise, Masashi Asaki illustrated Yuma Ando’s mystery manga Psychometrer and Psychometrer Eiji.
My Home Hero’s exciting teaser showcases plot and theme song

The official website for the upcoming television adaptation of Yamakawa’s crime manga My Home Hero posted a promotional video that showcased the anime’s synopsis and theme song for the anime. In addition, Chiai Fujikawa performs the anime’s theme song titled Song of Love and Dizzy Sunfist will perform the ending theme song titled Decided. Fujikawa performed the theme song for the Rising of Shield Hero anime and Dizzy Sunfist performed the ending theme song for the EX-ARM anime.
The anime will premiere on April 2023, with fantastic casts and crew working on the project. Junichi Suwabe will voice the main character Tetsuo Tosu. Akio Otsuka, who gave life to Wammu from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures, will voice Kubo. Aside from its talented cast, the anime is in safe hands as the crew behind this project packs a portfolio. Takashi Kamei, who served as a chief director in the Transformers: War for Cybertron trilogy, will direct the anime. Additionally, Kenji Kawai, who composed the music for Ghost in the Shell and Gundam 00, is in charge of the anime’s score.
