There is a Problem!
Yor is feeling down lately. Even the neighbours noticed something wrong with her and speculated that Loid might be the reason because it was tough to be handsome and popular. Loid overheard this and decided to take action before things got worse.
Loid asked for Franky’s help in taking care of Anya while he and Yor were away on their scheduled date. At first, Franky accepted the job without a further fight, but he threw a frisbee at Loid when he saw the man leaving. Franky ranted about how he always has to babysit while Loid is gone, and Loid explained that it is for the mission (Loid and Yor could not also talk at their home because Anya might hear them.) Loid paid Franky, which the informant took and went to play with Anya and Bond without any more comments.
Loid took Yor on a Date
Loid met up with Yor after Yor’s work ended. He invited her on a date in a bar so that they could drink together. Inside the bar, Yor was nervous because she was expecting Loid to talk to her about Fiona. Loid did want to talk about Fiona, but he cared to explain that Fiona was just a co-worker and nothing else. When Loid mentioned Fiona’s name, Yor assumed Loid was replacing her with Fiona and thought of her situation when she was no longer part of the Forger family. She remembered that her time with the Forger family was only a contract, and she would be willing to give it up if it was to make Loid and Anya happy.
Yor wants to tell Loid about her feelings, so she drinks her cocktail and Loid’s drink to gather courage. Now drunk, Yor asked Loid if he was in love with Fiona. Loid was shocked to hear this and thought that Yor was jealous. He calmed himself down and took advantage of the situation. Taking Yor’s hand, Loid asked if she did not trust him.
The proximity made Yor flustered, and before Loid could ask if Yor wanted to get married for real, he was kicked hard on his chin, which sent him flying. Loid landed on his feet (as expected of a spy) and acted as if nothing was wrong. But in reality, the kick was so hard that he felt dizzy, and his consciousness was fading. The last thing he heard was Yor saying sorry, and then it all went black.
While unconscious, Loid heard his mother singing a familiar tune to him, and when he woke up, he was shocked to find himself sleeping on Yor’s lap. Yor was singing the lullaby, but Loid was panicking about how long he was unconscious, and Yor told him that he had been asleep for about five minutes and they were in the park because they were kicked out of the bar for being too noisy. Yor apologized to Loid for only being a musclehead, but after gathering his thoughts, Loid told Yor about his mother, who is also strong despite the war.
Loid said that Anya would always tell him that if there were problems, Yor would surely save her. Yor is the reason why Anya can be her cheerful self. Loid thought about what spies were doing to keep the peace, and Yor managed to do that easily, bringing protection to their household. Yor said that it was because she had been looking for Yuri for a long time, and Loid said that Yor had the skills to raise a child, so he did not have any thoughts on replacing her with someone else.
In the Forger residence, Anya was waiting for her parents to go home, and Franky asked her if she loved her parents. Anya did not hesitate and genuinely answered that she does (which melted every viewer’s heart.) When Loid and Yor returned home, Franky and Anya laughed about Loid’s chin which was already swollen because of the kick. Seeing everyone happy made Yor understand that she was already attached to the family and could not let them go. The next day, Yor woke up without any memories from the previous night, so Loid explained everything again.
In the second half of the episode, we can see Anya staring at Damian and his friends, who are looking at the bulletin board. Anya summarized Operation Strix in the most adorable way possible and mentioned that she has given up on getting Stella Stars through academics and sports. Anya plans to get close to Damian as his friend, but Becky thinks that Anya loves Damian because she keeps stalking him. Anya denied this, but Becky said they should go shopping to buy clothes so that Anya could get Damian’s attention.
Anya and Becky go shopping!
At the weekend, Martha, Becky’s driver, brought Anya and Becky to the shopping centre. The two girls talked about what they should buy and how generous Loid was for giving Anya tons of cash for shopping. Becky also mentioned that Yor is more beautiful in person. In the shopping centre, Anya was shocked to see how luxurious the whole place was, and it turned out that Becky reserved the building, so they could shop in private. Becky showed Anya clothes that would suit her, and Anya tried different kinds of clothes which were cute…at the beginning.
Here are samples of the outfit that Anya, but there were a lot more, so be sure to watch the episode to see them!
Anya was too tired after trying all of the outfits that Becky suggested and said that she was wearing a uniform every day, so she would not be able to wear the clothes they were trying at school. Becky said they would be allowed to wear casual clothes to parties with their parents, and that was when Becky realized that she should also be looking for clothes to impress Loid at those parties.
Becky tried many clothes after this conversation, ranging from innocent fashion to clothes similar to what Yor always wears. The staff from the shopping centre applaud every time Becky presents different kinds of clothes. Not able to decide what to choose, Becky ended up buying all the clothes she tried. Anya said she was tired of looking at clothes, so the two of them checked out other shops that sell shoes, accessories, and other stuff.
When they took a break, it was noticeable how Anya was so tired from all the walking they did, but Becky noticed that Anya bought nothing. Becky asked if Anya did not like shopping, but Anya answered without hesitation that she was having fun. Happy to know that Anya was enjoying herself, Becky swears they would find something that Anya likes.
As they were walking, Anya saw a keychain representing the mascot of the shopping centre and stated that she wanted it. Becky judged her choice, but when Anya said it would be a souvenir from their shopping trip, Becky wanted to get one too. But Becky remembered her father’s advice that she should only wear the finest things, so she hesitated. Even when Anya bought one for Becky, Martha said it would be a disgrace to reject a gift from a friend, so Becky accepted it, and Anya pointed out that Becky was a Tsundere.
On the way home, we can see Anya and Becky sleeping at the back of the car. While Martha was driving, she remembered how Becky would pick fights with other children for being childish and her way of thinking that she needed to always act like an adult. This changed when Becky met an interesting person in the class, and she became more cheerful after being Anya’s friend. Martha was happy for Becky (and so are we.)
At school, Anya was walking towards their building when Becky called out to her, and they showed that they were using the matching keychains they got. Damian noticed how happy Anya and Becky looked and were captivated until he was too flustered when his friend called his name. Inside the Forger household, Loid was shocked at how expensive the keychain was.
