With the upcoming end of the Love Live! School Idol Festival on March 31, 2023, many fans will miss hearing different songs from the Love Live franchise, especially from the first generation, μ’s. To cope with our emotions, here are some nostalgic and famous songs, excluding the opening and ending of the anime series, you could listen to when you miss them.
10. Wonderful Rush

“Wonderful Rush” is the fifth single released by μ’s on September 5, 2012. There was an MV included where the centre was Minami Kotori. There was a part in the song with a high note by Nishikino Maki, which will give you goosebumps. The MV shows that the girls are on their way to board a plane, but it becomes chaotic after Kotori forget to bring something.
9. Music S.T.A.R.T!!

This song is familiar to any Love Live viewers in the community because it was released as the sixth single and an insert song in Love Live! School idol project’s first original video animation. The song’s centre was Nishikino Maki, and in the MV, we could see the members having a fun sleepover!
8. Yume no Tobira

Yume no Tobira was released on May 28, 2014, and was an insert song in the anime Season 2 Episode 3. In the anime, this song was also acknowledged by the rival of μ’s, A-RISE, which shows how beautiful the performance was. The song’s centre was Honoka Kosaka, but all the members shined in this song.
7. Mogyutto “love” de Sekkin Chuu!

Honoka Kosaka as the centre, this song was themed to fit Valentine’s Day. It was the fourth single released on February 15, 2012, and in the MV, we could see the girls giving chocolates and spending their valentine’s day together. This song is one of the catchiest songs done by μ’s!
6. Dancing Stars on Me!

Dancing Stars on Me was released on June 11, 2014, and was labelled as μ’s second song. The theme for this song was Halloween, and the centre was Nozomi Tojo which was very fitting for the event because she was known to be mysterious. If you watched the MV of the song, you would see the girls in Halloween costumes!
5. Angelic Angel

This song was one of the most popular insert songs in Love Live! The School Idol Movie. The centre was Ayase Eli, and Angelic Angel captured everyone’s voice perfectly. The MV took place in New York Times Square, along with scenes from Central Park, which made the whole thing grand.
4. No Brand Girls

No Brand Girls was released on April 3, 2013, and the centre for the song was Honoka Kosaka. It was an insert song for Season 1, Episode 11 of the anime. This song was memorable because it was the last song in the season before everything went south in the plot!
3. Aishiteru Banzai!

Every Love Live! fans know this song because it’s one of the most famous ones from this series. Aishiteru Banzai was first heard in Season 1, Episode 1, sung by Nishikino Maki. It was also the song in the graduation ceremony in Season 2 Episode 13, sung by µ’s, which made everyone cry. The centre of the track was Nishikino Maki.
2. Snow Halation

Released on December 22, 2010, Snow Halation is also one of the most famous songs sung by µ’s. It was an insert song in Season 2, Episode 9 of the anime, and it became the most impactful one. The theme used for this song is Christmas, and the centre was Honoka Kosaka.
1. Bokutachi wa Hitotsu no Hikari

And finally, the song that made everyone cry. Boutachi wa Hitotsu no Hikari was released on July 15, 2015. It was the ending song in Love Live! The School Idol Movie. It was so memorable because they used all the members’ names in the lyrics, making it more emotional as it was the last song of µ’s seen on screen. The song’s centre was Honoka Kosaka.
