My Hero Academia anime is currently going through its most IMPORTANT Arc. Fans are expecting some fascinating things from it. However, we are not here to talk about the anime, we are here to decide who is the STRONGEST Hero from Class 1-A!
Class 1-A has some of the strongest characters in the entire series including Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki. Being a top hero is not just about strength, a LOT of other things also matter including tactics, speed, and decision-making. We’ll be ranking the characters based on all of these things.
Without any further ado, let’s start the list!
10. Tsuyu Asui AKA Froppy
Quirk: Frog
First up on this list, we have our favorite FROPPY!!! Well! Most people tend to underestimate her because of her appearance, however, she is definitely not the type of character you should underestimate.
Tsuyu’s quirk is one of the most VERSATILE quirks in all of MHA. The thing that makes her really dangerous is the fact that she can fight on land as well as in water. She is extremely AGILE and quick-witted as well. Landing a hit on her is pretty much impossible. Her main strength is her KICK. She can definitely break your jaw with it. And her long tongue allows her to subjugate her enemies without them realizing it. Her only weakness is not being able to fight alone against strong opponents.
09. Mezo Shoji AKA Tentacole
Quirk: Dupli Arms
Another underrated character to feature on this list. Shoji’s quirk is one of the most unique on this list. His unique quirk Dupli Arms allows him to generate multiple arms from his body. These arms can transform into multiple sensory organs including eyes, ears, and even mouth, allowing him to perform numerous tasks at once.
He can also use them to create a HUGE web to shield himself from attacks. He is like the PERFECT support hero. Well! These extra limbs sure are handy, but they are also his weakness as they are easy to hit and target.
08. Rikido Sato AKA Sugarman
Quirk: Sugar Rush
Sato AKA Sugarman is the next Hero to feature on this list. His quirk SUGAR RUSH allows him to temporarily convert sugar into raw muscle power. His physical abilities are enhanced EXPONENTIALLY by his quirk.
He might not be the type of person to talk too much, but he has definitely got what it takes to be a TOP HERO! His quirk might seem a bit too OP, however, it has a HUGE weakness. It does not last for a few minutes and if he’s unable to take his opponent down during that time, he’s done for.
07. Mashirao Ojiro AKA Tailman
Quirk: Tail
Ojiro is perhaps the most UNDERRATED character in the entire series. Some people might be shocked to see him on this list, but he deffo deserves this spot. His martial arts and observation skills make him one of the most proficient fighters in the series.
His hand-to-hand combat skills are unmatched. His long tail also makes him pretty agile and unorthodox. He is the type of person who observes the circumstances first and then acts accordingly. His only weakness is the fact that he is helpless against long-range fighters.
06. Tenya Iida AKA Ingenium
Quirk: Engine
Next up on this list, we have the class president TENYA IIDA!!! How can we even forget this guy? He is the class president for a reason. His quirk Engine allows him to achieve superhuman speed and immense power.
The interesting thing here is that the powers his engine with ORANGE JUICE!! I mean, they should’ve used milk LOL!!! Using the engine on his calves, Iida can not only run fast but generate Tremendous power as well. Just make sure he doesn’t kick you right in the face. His only weakness is that he cannot maintain his speed for a long time and is difficult to control.
05. Fumikage Tokoyami AKA Tsukoyomi
Quirk: Dark Shadow
Tokoyami’s quirk Dark Shadow is perhaps the most UNIQUE quirk in the show. You know what? His quirk reminds me of Stands from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. Maybe he is a JOJO REFERENCE!!!
Let me explain Tokoyami’s quick first. His quirk DARK SHADOW allows him to summon a shadow creature to fight for him. He can also wrap it around himself like armor. And ofc he can fly as well. This quirk is extremely handy and strong during the day, however, during the night, there are chances that Dark Shadow might run rampant and destroy everything. So, he avoids using his quirk in dark. This is a HUGE drawback!
04. Eijiro Kirishima AKA Red Riot
Quirk: Hardening
Next up, we have our favorite boy KIRISHIMA! AKA RED RIOT!! The fact that Kirishima can handle Bakugo’s anger is proof of his strength and resolve LOL!!
Just as it sounds, his quirk hardening allows him to harden his entire body like ROCK!! If he is in his Unbreakable mode, then no attack can penetrate his invincible armor. His quirk is like the ABSOLUTE defense. However, he is not only good for defense, one punch from his rock-hard fist can destroy any villain! And I forgot to mention that he can also sharpen his limbs like knives and use penetrating attacks. His only weakness is the fact that he does not possess any long-range attacks and is hella slow.
03. Katsugi Bakugo AKA Great Explosion Murder God
Quirk: Explosion
I still can’t comprehend the fact that he chose GREAT EXPLOSION MURDER GOD as his hero name. I’m not saying it’s bad or anything, it’s just way too hilarious.
Despite his weird hero name, Bakugo is one of the strongest members of Class 1-A. He is like a PRODIGY! His quirk explosion allows him to create HUGE explosions from the Nitroglycerin in his sweat. It might not sound that powerful, but the way Bakugo utilizes his quirk makes it one of the STRONGEST!!!
Like his hero name, his costume is also a bit funny, however, the grenade-like gloves he wears are not for show tho. They are specifically designed for Bakugo to utilize his quirk to its maximum potential. His rivalry with Deku is what drives both of them to achieve even greater heights.
02. Todoroki Shouto AKA Shouto
Quirk: Half Cold Half Hot
How can you not include this guy on this list? I mean, it’s just impossible. Endeavor’s ULTIMATE experiment Todoroki Shouto is the second strongest on this list.
If Todoroki hadn’t rejected his father’s quirk early on in his life, he might’ve been the strongest. His quirk Half Cold Half Hot is perhaps the most VERSATILE quirk in the series. He can do some crazy stuff with his ice quirk like instituting HUGE mountains of ice. He can also slide on his ice quirk to achieve crazy speeds. Besides all this, he also possesses a fire quirk like his father. However, unlike Endeavor, he can cool himself off using his other side.
Endeavour believes that his son will become stronger than All Might at some point in his life and I think his speculation will come true.
01. Izuku Midoriya AKA Deku
Quirk: One For All
This was pretty obvious, right? I mean, he was already stronger than most of his class fellows after he inherited One For All from All Might. Only characters like Todoroko and Bakugo were in his way and with hard work, he crossed them as well. He is truly worthy of this spot.
With season 6 of the show going on, it has become CLEAR that Deku is even stronger than most Pro Heroes and is definitely a force to be reckoned with. The fact that he has gained access to previous One For All user’s quirks makes him even stronger. The only person who stands in his way is Shigaraki now. And I’m pretty sure that he’ll eventually defeat him as he is the PROTAGONIST!!!
