The sudden revelation and assault of the golden werewolf lead to another mystery located in the werewolf village where serial killings apparently also tragically occur. As Shizuku must survive in an unfamiliar land filled with suspicions and threats, Aya and Tsugaru work together with the Royce agents to find the undisclosed village of werewolves.
The Hidden Werewolf Village

Subverting the expectation, the plot immediately jumps to the targeted mythical location, Wolphinhel, a hidden village where werewolves live together and build their own civilization. What is so intriguing about the village is the fact that this country also suffers from the terror of serial murders just like the human village.

Three girls were murdered on rainy nights, and all of them were shot by silver bullets. This anomaly and dread signify that both villages of humans and werewolves turn out to be pretty similar in their own way, and probably are even connected from one to another with the trial and punishment of Rosa.
Shizuku’s Struggle & Trial

After being drowned and falling from a waterfall, Shizuku luckily survives with the help of three werewolf girls and priestesses from the village named Nora, Kaya, and Vera. Yet the safety only exists for a while under the roof of Nora’s house since Shizuku ends up being accused and judged by the villagers of being the murderer after exposing herself.

Added with the shocking death of Nora, the unfortunate situation is definitely frightening and worrying, but on the other hand, it is a golden moment to let Shizuku shine. She was portrayed as more of a background character in the past two arcs, but this part of the Werewolf arc finally builds Shizuku as her own character with her traits and persona.
Frankenstein From the Sky

As Shizuku is dealing with serious trouble, Aya and Tsugaru who seem to be relaxed about her disappearance decide to head to the village. Guided by the mayor’s instruction and joined by Alice and Kyle from Royce Insurance, the supernatural detectives not only find the path to the village but also get themselves in another dangerous assault, this time by Victor of Banquet.
Final Verdict

Leading up to the penultimate episode, more mysteries and more cliffhangers are presented in this episode. This arc succeeds in breaking everyone’s prediction on how the questions will be answered and how the events will unfold. While the terror of the serial killings in both villages is definitely haunting, the involvement of Banquet in the stressful situation will definitely make things even messier just like in the previous arc.
